Dundas Square: Street Photography

This past Saturday the instructor and a couple of us from my photojournalism/street photography course headed down to Dundas Square to see if we could capture some of the action going on. Dundas Square is Toronto’s attempt to try to capture some of the craziness of Times Square in New York City. Let’s say that it works and it doesn’t work. There was a bunch of stuff going on though, the omnipresent religious zealots preaching to the damned, the crush of shoppers navigating the “scramble” intersection, sidewalk Santa making balloon animals for the kids and of course Spiderman! This Saturday also held another Occupy Toronto/Occupy Earth gathering. All in all, lots to look at and take shots of!
