I was recently invited to shoot some behind the scenes photos of a photoshoot involving a collaboration between Artist Steve Driscoll and photographer Finn O’Hara.
The outdoor (and very snowy) photo shoot took place so that Finn could capture large format images of one of Steve’s massive paintings placed in a busy urban environment. Thus the painting being situated during the morning rush hour, in the middle of University Avenue in Toronto.
Finn’s photos of this painting and others will eventually become part of his CONTACT Photography Festival photo series that will be on display at the McMichael Canadian Art Collection in May of 2017.
