Thanksgiving Road Trip to 3 Mile Lake Ontario

posted by Woodrow Walden November 12, 2016 0 comments

Over the Canadian Thanksgiving weekend, we made the journey up to 3 Mile Lake near Bracebridge in Muskoka. It’s a beautiful part of Northern Ontario, and the leaf forecast promised peak colours while we where there.

While the colours were beautiful, I didn’t feel like they were as bright as they have been in past years. I wasn’t sure if this was because of the hot dry summer that we had, or they just hadn’t reached their full potential¬†while we were up there.

These are the shots that I did manage to take while out on a walk.

All shots taken with a Canon 5D Mark III and Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS II USM Lens I rented from Vistek in Toronto.
